Probably the most dangerous place on Earth! How does the bottomless pit where deadly jumps are made

Jacob 's Well , an artesian spring in Wimberley , Texas , still attracts fans thrills , though at least eight people died during a dive .

From the cliff above the water , Jacob 's Well , a natural pool in Wimberley , Texas , seems a bottomless pit . The permanent artesian spring that feeds the Cypress creek, attracts people of all ages who want to swim in nature, surrounded by the beautiful landscape .

Most of those who go to Jacob 's Well are thrilled fans who want to jump, or dive into the pit, which gives the impression that it has no bottom.

"From the rock on which salt water is almost not visible . All you see is a huge hole , an abyss , "said Carl Griffin , amateur photographer who made a series of pictures in the area. " Spring is so clear that it seems that the jump from a great height , although wait, actually three feet above the water ," he adds . The fountain has a diameter of four meters and from bottom to top there are almost 10 meters. From there , it can enter a system of caves, some of the largest in Texas , where the depth reaches 40 meters.

"For those who want to dive, Jacob's Well remains a natural pool fed by a spring gorgeous that everyone can enjoy. Because while ago there had been added some new developments, it was added into a natural reserve, so it will be protected for the next generations to swim here." adds Griffin.
